India Takes on Netherland on wednesday

The 25th match of the 2011 ICC World Cup will be played between tournament favorites India and relative newcomers the Netherlands. India will come out all guns blazing in this match, aiming to dominate and not just win this match. The net run rate they could possibly garner from this match will prompt them to take many risks to make the contest wider for strategic purposes later in the Cricket World Cup tournament. India’s match following this will be played against a much more difficult opponent: South Africa. It is imperative that India fires hard in this group stage match with the Netherlands, so all it’s batting superstars are burning at full efficiency on all cylinders.
It is also important that India not develop a sense of complacence because of the easy opponents they will be facing. They need to fight for every run like they are playing the finals of the World Cup itself. Having played 3 matches against minnows already, it is likely that India will be leading their group at this stage of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. They must attempt to win every match they can at the highest margin possible, so they play an easier target in the quarter-finals. If India can manage to top their table at the group stage, they are all but certain of a semi-final berth.
