Yuvi and Raina Done it for India

"Yuvi celebrates after hitting the winning runs"
Aussie captain Ricky captain won the toss and no hesitation to bat first on a slow track. The Aussie openers started of slowly and steadily..India drawn first blood when aswin got through the defence of Watson. In walks the australian captain Ricky Ponting who haven't had a good run up in this WC desperately need some runs under his belt...He and Haddin put up a good partnership and laid the foundation for the assault in the death overs..Haddion reached his 50 soon after he got out to the emerged indian all-rounder Yuvi.Clarke and Ponting put up 30 odd runs before clarke got out for just 8 runs...again Yuvi got a wicket.Zaheer got the important wicket of Michael Hussey who is a good player of spin..On the other hand the Aussie captain..reached his hundred and got out for 104(118) 4X7 6X1) to Aswin.David hussey fast 38 of 26 Balls..help Aussie to reach a good and defendable total of 260 runs...

There is always some pressure facing Aussies in a knock out and chasing 260 Runs is not at all easy but,Indian openers started of steadily...with Shewag not able to time the ball as he would like to do and he got out for 15(22) a bit unusual for him.In walks Gaumbir who had some good starts in the previous matches but didnt capitalize on that,so he joined the master blaster and started to laid the foundation for a thrilling Chase. They put up a good 50 Partnership for the 2nd wicket before Sachin got out for a good delivery from the speedster Tait after making 53(68).Virat played well for his 24(33) but disappointed when he got out on a full toss from the part timer D Hussey. In Walks the captain cool Dhoni..but he got out at the wrong time to Lee with India still need 70 of 74 Balls. In Walks Raina who got a place in the Indian Team over Yusuf Pathan.India's final recognized pair in the field and india need 70 Runs.Yuvi done it quite nicely by nudging the singles and wait for the poor ball.Raina gave him good company by taking some needed risks.Raina showed his confidence when he hit the 1st ball of the batting powerplay for six.Yuvi reached his yet a another half century. And the time came were India need only 4 runs to win and Yuvi finished off in style with a classical on-Drive for four and drives India to the Semifinal...and setup a dream clash between India and Pakistan on March 30..
