KTK beat CSK in a rain affected match

CSK suffered 2nd defeat after Kochi tuskers kerala chased a revised D/L target of 135 runs easily and comfortably with 7 seven wickets remaining in the bag..

At the start KTK skipper Mahela won the toss and put CSk to bat first on a track which is slow due to heavy rain before the match..so both Vijay and Hussey struggled to time the ball..Hussey got out soon..after 14 odd runs to RP Singh..and incomes the dangerous raina who want to make a mark in this game and he started slowly by picking 1's and 2's giving more of the strike to Vijay..Vijay on the other side tried his level best to get the momentum going by hitting some boundaries..before he was trapped leg before to lankan pacer Perera..rain interrupted the game when the scoreboard read 61/2 with only 8 overs bowled..match started after on hour or so reduced to 17 overs a side..therefore CSK need to increase their rin rate before duckworth lewis comes into play..Raina reached his yet another 50 before he ran himself out everyone tried their level best to score some quick runs..but they cant time the ball well..2 sixes in the last over help CSk to reach a defend able total of 131 runs and it is revised as 135 runs by D/L method

Tuskers are up to a flying start with mcullum take all the bowlers to the cleaners with no respect whatsoever..Mahela got out after a valiant innings to CSK's strike bowler Aswin..In walks the ex-CSK player Parthiv Patel who scored a quick 30 odd runs and put up a very good 50 run partnership with Mcullum..Brendon got out to Aswin after making quick 49..hodge joined patel and score 19(14) to ride KTK  comfortably with 7 wickets i the bag..

It was a day when everything went against defending champions or otherwise luck favoured the KTK with rain helped them a little bit..

All one can say his, it was a one off-day for the defending Champions, hope they'll bounce back & learn from their mistakes, which they've done well in the previous seasons.
