Sangakkara step down Captaincy

It is Nigthmare for captain's when they lose in the big stages of a tornament I think it is good to eliminate in the League stages itself because Srilankan captain Sangakkara step down from his captaincy after the losing the final against India in Navi Mumbai on Saturday.Sanga officially announced this decision after the WC is over and he also announced his retirement from the T20 Internationals.It is also to be noticed that Jayawardane also step down from his captaincy after losing to Australia in the ICC CWC 2007 final in Westindies


This is not fair to step down from captaincy after losing the final of a CWC.Reaching the final itself is a big achievement.The step down decision is not his own decision it is only due to the media's influence and pressure.In my point of view Sangakkara is a good captain who led the team well during the disaster's situation in Pakistan where they were hit by a group of terrrorist and performed really well under pressure and crucial situations.He also led them to the final of the WC T20 in 2009 at England and also reached Asia cup finals.


Tilakaratnae Dilshan or Angelo Mathews is expected to be the new captain of the Srilankan Team.It is also to be noticed that Australian captain Ricky Pointing also step down from captaincy after losing to India in the quarter finals.This is not good because he led the Aussie Team to won the World Cup 2 times in a Row(2003 and 2007)..!!!
