Ganguly Joins Pune Warriors

Former India and KKR Captain Sourav Ganguly has been signed by the pune warriors as a  replacement of the injured Asish Nehra.

Dada was not picked up by any of the franchise during the auction in January 2011..Mean while he was approached by KKR owner Sharukh to be a mental consultant but,DADA refused it..And he was bid by Kochi team after the auction as a replacement for the injured steven Smith..and they also badly want a captain to led the team before Mahela leave for his National Duty so they approached the BCCI but the IPL council rejected it..

As a Surprise move the Sahara owner approached DADA and signed him with the same base price of USD $400,000 they also badly need a person like him to lift the spirit as they are vanishing at the bottom of the table with 6 straight loss

Last Month Sourav also commented in a TV News Channel "That he is still keeping his fingers crossed to play in the IPL 2011"
