KKR beat CSK in a rain affected encounter

Chennai Super Kings loss to Kolkata Knight Riders in a rain affected match here at Eden Garden.This was super kings first loss after 3 straight wins on the trot.Eventhough badri scored an excellent 50 which goes in vain as KKR won the match by 10 runs and D/L method

Earlier,MS won the toss and surprisingly elected to bat on a slow track,CSK openers can't time the ball and the ball not coming to the bat as well as they like to and vijay disappoints, again got out at a single digit score.Raina comes to the crease and soon got out to pathan for just 4 runs..as CSK managed oly 15 runs of the first 6 penultimate  overs and In walks the ever dependable Badri who tries to build a partnership with Hussey but cant as Mr.cricket fall to a short ball from Balaji.

Dhoni decided to up the anti so he sent Morkel ahead of him.And it worked as both of them put up a good fighting partnership on a slow track in which  Badri takes more of the strike who completed yet another crucial 50 and got out in the final ball of the innings after making 54 of just 41 balls which includes 3 Fours and 2 Massive sixes and Albie chipped in with a run-a-ball 30 as super kings managed to put up a good total of 114 runs

Pursuing a low score,KKR didnt start well as Aswin put kings back on track with the important wicket of Eoin Morgan in 2 over and gauti and kallis duo started to cut lose by scoring some important boundaries to stay head of the PAR score and again Aswin get a breakthrough by dismissing Gambhir as things were evenly poised the "rain came spoiled the game" when the scorecard read 61/2 and eventually KKR were 10 runs ahead of the PAR score by D/L method and beat the defending champions..
