Ind vs WI 1st ODI - Rohit,Dhawan and Raina done it for india

Great Temperament shown by the Indian batsmen as India registered a easy win in the 1st of the 5 match ODI series by 4 wickets.Thanks to Dhawan,Rohit and Raina for their wonderful matching winning partnership that seals the day for team India. And also a clinical performance by the indian bowlers which restricts Windies for a chase able total.

Earlier,Windies captain Sammy won the coin game and opted to bat first,Westindies openers didnt started well as bhajji drawn first blood by removing the in form batsmen Simmons.And soon Munaf came to the party with the wicket of young talented Darren Bravo as both the local players were disappointed the Home Crowd.And Finally Krick Edwards 21[45] struggle at the crease end as Bhajji strikes for India.And now windies were struggling and need to steady the ship.The experienced campaigners Sarwan and Samuels provided it with a 80 odd run partnership but,not at a good rate that Westindies need.Sarwan got out after making a 50[94] balls.The skipper came and picked up the important wicket of Samuels who cut lose at that stage.Good death bowling by Indian bowlers,Westindies finished 214/9 which is not enough for that massive Indian batting line-up.

The Indian batsmen didnt start the chase well as patel got out for horrible running by the indian openers.And soon Kholi got out to a lose shot.And it is the right stage for someone like Badrinath to step up to the task but it is not his day as the slowness of the pitch and some good line and length from the Windies spinners get rid off him.But,Dhawan and Sharma wont let the team down as they put a vital 40 odd runs partnership to steady the indian chase.Dhawan brought his maiden ODI fifty but he got out at a crucial stage.And it is now up to Sanu and sharma to drove India to a comfortable victory,Sharma looks elegant in this run chase and reached yet another ODI fifty.Raina got out after giving him good company.And some big hitting from Yusuf and bhajji   finish it off in style with a six over mid-wicket fence.Rohit finished with an excellent innings of  68*[75] which gave him the man of the match award....

It was surely a good team performance from Team India and it is good sign for the future of Indian cricket.Lets wish this young guns continue their winning run and win the series with a clean sweep 5-0 that will give them the top spot in the ICC ODI Rankings....
