Rohit Sharma seals series for Team India

Great Innings from Andre Russel Goes in vain as Rohit Sharma's Excellence 86*(91) and mishra's brilliant bowling performance brought india a 3-0 lead in  the series and team India won the series  in style.


And good company gave by indian tail-enders especially Harbhajan 41(79) and Praveen Kumar 25*(15). 

Both the halves were extremely similar. West Indies were 96-7 and reovered to 225 thanks to Andre Russel's heroics. India were 92-6 but went on to win the match thanks to Rohit Sharma's 86 run knock. 3-0 with 2 matches to go: this young Indian side continues to impress. 

Captain's Corner:-

Raina: I think Russel played really well. He played all cricketing shots. Credit goes to Amit Mishra as well, he bowled really well. He has been doing well in the last couple of months. I am very happy for him. Munaf and PK bowled well too. I played a bad shot but Rohit Sharma and Harbhajan played well. PK chipped in with some runs too. Rohit has been consistent for us, he scored 2 centuries in the Zimbabwe tour and hope he does well. We have a lot of bench strength and all of them will get a game in the next 2 matches. God has been kind to me, I am happy for the boys.

Sammy: It was one game that got away. Russel and Baugh gave us good momentum and we got early wickets, but we didn't have the killer instinct to finish off the game. The top order has been a problem, the lower order has been doing a lot of job in the last few matches. We know our problems and hopefully we work on it. Roach has been doing well in the recent past and I can't blame him. Looking forward to Monday, would like to win both the games like we did in the Pakistan series.

Andre Russell is the Man of the Match for his 92 off 64 deliveries and he deserved it.

Russell: I got a lot of time to bat. When I joined Baugh, he just said let's bat and that's all we did. Working hard on the bowling and I'm hoping to become a bowling all-rounder. I would like to be called a legend when I retire from international cricket.

After this series its time for the captain suresh raina should eye on gicing chances to other players in the bench and he should also be carefull to be focused and look for 5-0 white wash which will give team india the st place in ICC ODI RANKINGS...
