Ravichandran Ashwin - Biodata
Ravichandran Ashwin ( born 17 September 1986) is an Indian national cricket team player, who plays for India and Tamil Nadu cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and right arm off-break bowler. He is the only bowler of recent times apart from Ajantha Mendis of Sri Lanka to bowl the carrom ball. He played two matches for team India during world cup, 2011. He is a very economical bowler and has shown many variations in his bowling.
Career
Ashwin is an all-rounder for Tamil Nadu and has taken 6/64 against Vidarbha in first-class cricket.He made his debut against Andhra Pradesh in Twenty20 cricket. He was nicknamed "Dada" during his U-19 days while touring Dharamsala.He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on 5 June 2010. He scored 38 runs from 32 balls (4 fours and 1 six).He became the highest wicket taker of the 2010 Champions League Twenty20 tournament for Chennai Super Kings in the tournament with 13 wickets and was adjudged as the player of the tournament and also got the Golden Wicket.He played 2 matches for India in the ICC CWC 2011 He made his World Cup debut on 20 March 2011
Personal Life
He lives in Chennai and went to Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan for his schooling and 11th and 12th in St. Bede's. He did his engineering in SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.
Best Friends - Murali Vijay, Subramaniam Badrinath, Anirudha Srikkanth and Lakshmipathy Balaji. He has very close contact with Actor Jeeva.
