CSK registered a easy win against Delhi

This was a complete performance from the defending champions Chennai Super Kings as they out played Delhi Daredevils in all departments and registered a comfortable and easy win by 9 wickets and more than 20 balls to spare.

Full credit to the bowling department of CSK as they restricted Delhi to a mere 114 in 20 overs. Led by a unplayable opening spell from Ben Hilfenhaus. He removed both the openers in 2 overs time. First a beauty of a delivery to dismiss the Dangerous Viru. And then disguised Warner with a timely slow Ball. He completely shaked the Delhi Top order and finished with a dream figure of 3-27 which earned him the Man of the match award.Morkel and Ashwin were also impressive in this game both completed an economical spell of 1-15 and 1-17 respectively.

A Cake walk chase for CSK: Chasing a target of less than a run-a-ball the CSK Openers Hussey and M Vijay started the chase with a good partnership adding up 50 for the first wicket. Of the two Vijay was timing ball really sweet & played some magical shots in the coaching manual. Delhi managed to dismiss Hussey 38(32) but it was too late.

Raina came in with one thing in mind is to finish the game lot earlier that will improve CSK's Net Run Rate which will be handy when qualifying for Play-Off's. And he done it with a little cameo 28(20) which include 2 sixes. which earned CSK an easy win. Vijay was unbeaten on 48 of 40.

Dhoni about the Victory

"Needed to play authentic cricket chasing less than a run a ball. Hussey and Vijay gave us the start we needed. It was not swinging too much after the first couple of overs, so we needed to keep Hilfenhaus for the death overs, he has given us than extra spark. Albie's bowling well with him, openers doing well too." - Dhoni said

Like to improve in the Death Overs - Hilfenhaus.

"Obviously good to start well and put them under pressure. I would be lying if I said I did not enjoy that one, we did well as a group, both bowling and batting. I would like to come back and bowl in the death and try and improve...." - Hilfenhaus Said
