Mumbai Indians pulled of a great win in a thriller against CSK in Mumbai, But Whistle and raise your hands for the Kings! Thanks to Vijay, Raina and especially Jadeja for that beautiful over. What needed more than a wonderful innings from Sachin and a Good Team performance from CSK...
M Vijay back to form: Having won the toss MI asked CSK to bat first on a batsmen paradise. Vijay came in and played a wonderful knock 41 of just 29 balls after a long time that is a very good sign for CSK. He smashed 24 runs in a single over of Munaf Patel which helped CSK to score at a good rate. Du Plesis was out of colors he scored just 9 runs. It Happens! Raina played another good cameo 36 at a very good rate along with Bravo who gave him good company scoring 40(33). With wickets were falling at one end, Dhoni managed to find some boundaries as CSK posted a good total on the board 173.
Pursuing a target of 174 always need a good start. Even though Mumbai lost Franklin soon. But, Sachin and Rohit started to build a partnership which proved to be a match winning one. Sachin's batting is always a treat to watch he smashed 74(44) before Du Plesis pulled of a stunner to dismiss Sachin (b Ashwin).
Jadeja's Unbelievable Over:- When everything moving smoothly for Mumbai with required rate falling down! Dhoni made a gamble by bringing Ravindra Jadeja to bowl the 18th over. It paid off he managed to pick up 2 wickets of Raydu and Rohit by giving just 2 runs away!
Dwayne Smith had some other plans: With 14 runs needed in the last 3 balls. Smith powered a massive six over the long on boundary. Brought down the equation 8 from 2. He smashed a four down the ground, Almost ripped off Hilfenhaus. Smith's blazed the final ball hard and flat, and even Faf cannot run quickly enough to his right to prevent the boundary and pulled off a unlikely win for Mumbai

CSK.. you did pretty well.Of all the loses that hurt me, this dint hurt much. It was a delight to watch Vijay back in form. Maiden over from Hilfenhaus was awesome. 14 off 3 balls is a onetime happening so its something to forget.The positive side was that all the batsmen were aggressive, which was missing in most innings.Just bat the way you did in this game and CSk will cruise through to the playoffs.
