1st League Match:- India Vs Bangladesh

Batting:- As Sakib won the toss and elected to field first .Sehwag started of in style as the first ball of the ICC WC 2011 went for a boundary(4),The Bangladesh bowlers didn’t bowl well in the first 7 over’s  or so the Indian batsmen capitalize on that and score runs quickly, causing problems to sakib. Unfortunately sachin run himself out when he was at 28(29),In comes gauti who is in excellent form carried on well along with Viru.On the other hand viru reached his 50 with a massive six over the bowlers head .After gauti got out cheaply when he was at 39,Incomes the Indian U19 captain Virat Kohli who is in the excellent form through out the last season(who is the second highest run scorer of the year 2010). After gauti got out Sehwag played a different kind of an innings, just nudging the ball around the corner and turn 1’s into 2’s. After Sehwag reached his 100,India decided to take the batting powerplay as two well settled batsmen is on the crease. Sehwag got an injury during the run of play. so he started to hit anything  to score quickly as the real Sehwag gets into the act. Unfortunately he got out 25 short of his first ever double century he made 175 which include 5 massive sixes .In the Final over of the match Kohli reached his 100 in his WC debut…

Bowling:- Everyone would say that SREE didn’t bowl well, but in my point of view he bowled well but it was not his day that most of the runs are scored behind the wicket(He is not lucky).Zaheer and munaf bowled good line and length, Munaf got his man by taking the wicket of the luckiest batsmen in the crease Imrul Kayes.In walks Siddique Bang need a very good and offensive partnersgip as the required rate is creeping upwards all the time. But, the pair provided a good partnership but not able to get the boundaries that areneeded at that stage. They tried their level best but the Indian spinners bowled very well giving no room what so ever for getting the boundaries. Siddique got out by an excellent delivery from Bhajji and a good work done behind the stumps by MS.In walks Sakib who played a good innings along with Tamim but he also not able to pick the boundaries even singles become difficult.Tamim got out after a slow innings of 76. The Bang captain opted for the batting powerplay but munaf and zaheer bowled very good yokers and chipped up the bangwickets quickly.In this Munaf got 4 wickets,Zaheer and bhajji  got 2 wickets each. As India show their supremacy by winning comfortably by 87 runs…
