Badrinath, Du Plesis shine in the win over Warriors

It was a treat to watch both the super Kings Openers Badrinath and Faf Du Plesis playing in their Den infront of a jam-packed crowd like kings, put up a very good partnership up front which sealed a comfortable win over the Warriors on Thursday Eve.

Earlier,Dada won the toss and asked Dhoni's Boys to bat first on a track that is slow and low. Dhoni made a gamble by giving Badrinath the chance to open the innings in the absence of M Vijay. It paid off well as both the openers paved a nice platform up the order.Both completed their half centuries put up 116 runs in less than a run-a-ball rate. It was upto Captain MS Dhoni to play a steady little cameo to increase the run-rate in the death overs.And he didn't disappoint the fans. Bravo started the 20th over with a wicket of Mathews and Super Kings are way back to their winning track.
