Suresh Raina completed 2000 IPL runs
Chennai Apirl 30,2012: Chennai Super Kings Blaster Suresh Raina became the first-ever batsman to cross 2000 runs in the Indian Premier League on Monday. Raina reached this milestone during the course of his 44-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Den of CSK.

Prior to this match, the left-handed Raina had 1865 runs from 64 matches at an average of 35.86. Raina, who top-scored for his team on Monday with a 34-ball 44, has been playing in the Indian Premier league since its inaugural edition in 2008.
