CSK vs Kings XI Match Preview

VS

Chennai Superkings takes on Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday in Mohali in the 12th match of IPL Season IV.

The Mohali pitch is expected to be a batting track which some joy for the spinners so the captain winning the toss should bat first.

CSK started the tournament in grand fashion with a win against Sharukh's KKR. They must be pretty confident going into their next match. As far as the team is concerned the new opener Aniruddha Srikanth is looking good and expected to be fit after suffering from an ankle injury during the course of the match. The middle order is also formidable with the likes of Raina, Badri & Dhoni(Captain cool). Bowling Department also looks settled with pace taken care by Tim southee & Albie Morkel, and Spin by Ashwin, Jakati & new comer Randiv. Dhoni also has the option of giving his overs to Part time off-spin of Raina & Medium pace of Scott Styris.

On the other hand King XI Punjab had a bad start to their campaign losing to new comers of IPL 4 Sahara Pune Warriors. Their batting looks like they're relying too much on the top three batsman, captain Gilchrist, Shaun Marsh & Dinesh Karthik. This was proved when SPWarriors had these batsman cheaply & the next coming batsman crumbled apart from Mclaren. But the damage was done already, they never recovered.
Bowling looks even weaker with only notable proven performer being Praveen kumar. But its too early to write off & in t20 all you need is 4 good overs.
