Duncan Fletcher named Indian teams next coach

Duncan Fletcher, the former England coach and Zimbabwe captain, was appointed as India's Next coach after gary's great 3 years or so.The BCCI decided to give Fletcher a 2 year contract after a Working Committee meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday. Eric Simons' will continue to be the bowling coach and Duncan and his crew will start their job in the upcoming Tour to Westindies.

Gary's Era:- It was an very important role played by Gary in shaping up the Young Indian Side along with the experienced players from the start.Before he came to the party,The Indian team were down in confidence after a sorrow and controversial time with the 'Villan of indian Cricket' (Greg Chappell) and the team needed a good inspirational man to lift the spirit and Gary provided it with ease.There are many Up's and Down's especially the poor show in the 2009,2010 T20 International is only debacle other than that under him they won several test series During his days only India became the number team in the Test History for the first time.His Hardwork paid well recently,Where the Indian Team lifted the ICC Cricket WC 2011 after 28 long years and surely this was his and the teams ultimate goal and they scored it.  

About Fletcher:- 62 Year Old Man, was first started his career as a coach of England, Before taking up the job england were said to be the poor test playing nation and they earned this name after losuing the 2011 Ashes 5-0 but, under Fletcher only  they beat Australia in 2005 to regain the Ashes after 18 long years. He was England's first foreign coach and took over in 1999. 

England Under Him:- Test won 42 and lost 30 ODI lot looking good won 75 and lost 82.Fletcher stepped down after a 5-0 lose in the Ashes 2007 and disappointing World Cup 2007

My Thoughts:- There are a lot of negative comments about Fletcher's appointment. But I personally think, that we fans can be wrong in our judgments sometimes, Because, majority people were happy with Chappal's appointment and we all know what he brought to team India.Maybe Fletcher can prove us we are wrong this time too.Good Luck MSD and the Indian team, stay on top and make us proud. we have the talent to stay on top irrespective of who the coach is, not undermining their efforts in future.
