Super Kings locks on Kings XI at Den

After the rain spoiled the game against RCB, the Super Kings is all set to face Kings XI Punjab in M.A.Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk on a cloudy Saturday Eve (APRIL 28, 4 PM). Without even single ball bowled in the last game and two teams shared 1 point each, CSK will look to win and to stay up in the IPL points table.

Coach Stephen Fleming is very much pleased with the pitch that is settling down well and brings CSK the home advantage back.(Listen to coach Fleming). The opening combination of Du Plesis and Badrinath doing a great job for the Kings, since the time they joined together, putting up very good partnerships at the top.The big boost is the form that the CSK's middle order are in,namely Bravo, Jadeja and the Captain MS Dhoni himself. And Albie's Fire power in the death overs.

The little worry for CSK is Raina not able to spend more time in the middle. He is striking the ball well but it will be good if he score some Big runs that he had done with ease in the previous seasons.

The two pace lads Bollinger and Kulasekara doing a fabulous job for the Kings by bowling economical spells and picking up wickets at regular intervals.Albie Morkel is bowling with good pace but, he is working hard with the bowling coach to bowl in decent line and length. After winning 12,50,000 in Oru Kodi (Quiz Game in Vijay TV) Ashwin will look to turn his focus back on Cricket and give CSK the best  possible start with the ball.Jakati and Jadeja doing their supporting role well by chipping in with some tidy overs.

A Glimpse from the past.

Who will forget the day when MS Dhoni hit two sixes in a row to help CSK to qualify for the Semi Finals in the last over in an away match against Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2010. And the expression of MSD is still rolling in our mind.....

Let Glory remains in the Super Kings Den!
